Katherine O’Conner (she/her)
Clinical MSW Candidate
Accepting new clients in NY, NJ, MA, CT and FL.
Kay is a clinical social work intern who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating identity, anxiety, school or work-related stress, and relationship or family challenges. She is especially passionate about supporting clients as they explore who they are and what they need to thrive—emotionally, socially, and academically.
Kay brings a warm, collaborative, and affirming presence to the therapy space. Her background as a middle school educator and group facilitator informs her trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. She has experience leading groups focused on trauma, resilience, and emotional processing, and she works from a client-centered lens that honors each person’s lived experience.
Currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Columbia University, Kay draws from a range of approaches including narrative, relational, and strengths-based practices, and is committed to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing.
